5 JFK Library employees who were fired last week have all been 'reinstated,' library says
Briefly

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Dorchester reinstated five staff members who were recently laid off during a federal workforce reduction. The JFK Library Foundation expressed relief at their return, emphasizing their significance to the library's revenue-generating functions, including admissions. The sudden layoffs had previously forced other staff, including library director Alan Price, to cover essential roles. However, the reinstatement allows the library to resume normal operations, with the foundation and staff expressing joy over the decision.
They are all critical to Library revenue generating operations, which can now resume as normal, and it is wonderful to have our valued colleagues back.
As the Foundation that supports the JFK Library, we are relieved that all five members of the JFK Library staff who were let go last week have been reinstated.
The absence of the five laid off employees meant that other staffers, including the director of the library, Alan Price, had to be called in to work the front desk over the weekend.
