"BRENTWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Two people were found dead Sunday at the Los Angeles home of director Rob Reiner, prompting the Los Angeles Police Department to launch a murder investigation, officials and sources said. The deceased were identified only as a man and woman ages 78 and 68 years old, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Firefighters responded at 3:38 p.m. to a medical aid call at a home in the 250 block of Chadbourne Avenue in Bentwood, the LAFD said."
"LAPD sources told ABC News that police initially began a death investigation that later developed into a murder case. The LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division is leading the investigation, and the department's senior leadership is responding to the scene."
