Brown's lawyer emphasized the unprecedented nature of the potential lawsuit, attributing Trump’s claims as the catalyst, stating, “A guy by the name of Trump is pushing him to it.”
Trump accused Brown of making disparaging comments about Kamala Harris, which Brown refuted, insisting that he has always respected her and wished for her success.
In response to Trump's assertions, Brown categorically denied ever riding in a helicopter with him and asserted, 'That’s a complete lie; I’ve never been in a helicopter with him.'
Former LA councilman Nate Holden speculated that Trump may have mistaken him for Brown due to both being Black, highlighting the confusion over riding experiences.
