Sir Keir Starmer criticised Lord Wolfson of Tredegar for acting as a lawyer for Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich while sitting in the Conservative shadow cabinet. Lord Wolfson is among the lead barristers representing Abramovich in a Jersey legal case. That legal action has reportedly delayed release of funds from Abramovich's Chelsea sale that the UK government wants used to help rebuild Ukraine. Lord Wolfson has recused himself from advising on Russia and Ukraine matters.
