The chatbot replied that it would be fair to call him a rape enabler and claimed he backed the Scottish government's decision not to hold a separate inquiry, alleging shielding of political interests. Mr Wishart said he was seeking legal advice, described the accusation as deeply distressing, and reported receiving abusing and threatening messages. He urged Elon Musk to recalibrate and shut down the bot and called for proper regulation of AI and social media. XAI has been approached for comment.
