Lucy Connolly to meet with Trump envoy after release from prison
Briefly

Lucy Connolly will meet members of the Trump campaign after her release from prison for inciting racial hatred. She was sentenced to 31 months after posting on X advocating mass deportation and arson against hotels housing migrants. She served 40% of the sentence and was released on licence. Connolly said she made the post in a red-mist fit of anger, deleted it later, and was arrested eight days afterward. The Crown Prosecution Service quoted her as expressing strong anti-immigrant views during police interview. Connolly said she was made a political prisoner and claimed her words were twisted.
Mass deportation now, set fire to all the f****** hotels full of the bastards for all I care if that makes me racist so be it.
During police interview Lucy Connolly stated she had strong views on immigration, told officers she did not like immigrants and claimed that children were not safe from them.
Trump's lawyers were very interested in the way things are going in the UK and keen to speak with her, adding they are big advocates for free speech.
