Truss made the revelation at a cryptocurrency conference in Bedford over the weekend, expressing her concerns over freedom of expression in Britain being stifled by the elite.
She indicated the need for a media network to foster grassroots movements and promote issues suppressed by mainstream media, stating her worries about repression reminiscent of Soviet Russia.
Truss emphasized, "I do think this needs to be actively fought and what I am doing is establishing a new free speech network, which will be uncensored and uncancellable."
