Buckingham Palace given Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor trade envoy emails six years ago
An archive of 30,000 emails from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s personal business contact was handed to the Lord Chamberlain in May 2020. The emails were reportedly given to Buckingham Palace six years earlier and court documents suggest he shared confidential government information as a trade envoy. Buckingham Palace said it could not comment because a police enquiry is ongoing. Thames Valley Police detectives investigating him will consider allegations of sexual misconduct in their inquiry into potential misconduct in public office. He was arrested on his 66th birthday in February on suspicion of misconduct in a public office after allegations he passed sensitive government information to Jeffrey Epstein while employed as a government trade envoy.
