Boris Johnson attacks Trump over claims Ukraine started war with Putin
Briefly

The Independent emphasizes the importance of unbiased journalism as they report on crucial topics like reproductive rights, climate change, and government narratives. Boris Johnson condemned Donald Trump's misleading assertions that Ukraine instigated the war with Russia, arguing such statements serve to provoke rather than inform. Johnson drew historical parallels to illustrate the absurdity of suggesting Ukraine, under siege, should hold elections during its invasion. As tensions rise, discussions among European leaders around Trump's claims continue, spotlighting the challenges faced in navigating journalism amidst political narratives.
