A woman was injured and taken to hospital after a car overturned during a multi-vehicle crash on the A2 near Gravesend. Emergency services responded at around 8:30 am, leading to lane closures on the busy road. Two individuals were treated at the scene, with one being transported to Princess Royal University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. National Highways and Kent Police assisted in the recovery of vehicles and road clearance, allowing all lanes to reopen before 11 am.
Emergency services were called to the A2 near the junction with the A227 Wrotham Road around 8.30am today (March 3). National Highways described a multi-vehicle crash in which a vehicle had overturned, with all lanes being closed.
A Kent Police spokesperson stated that Kent Police was called at 8.31am on Monday 3 March to a report of a collision involving two cars on the London-bound A2.
