"Garda Patricia Davey told the court that at 2:40pm on April 25, she received a report of theft from Cara Pharmacy. Upon arrival, Garda Davey spoke to staff who told her that the defendant concealed the perfume in her bag. Brady was subsequently identified by CCTV. No property was recovered."

She was charged with stealing perfume worth €121 from Cara Pharmacy on April 25, with staff reporting she concealed the perfume in her bag and was later identified by CCTV. On May 10, she was charged with stealing clothing and jewellery worth €49 from Dunnes Stores after placing items in her bag and passing payment points, and with stealing handbags worth €240 from TK Maxx, where staff removed some handbags after she was stopped and she exited with the rest. She pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity, and her solicitor cited difficult news about her 18-month-old son.
