Around 50 dead hares, a barn owl, and a kestrel were found outside Broughton Community Shop. A man arrested earlier was released on bail, and another man has been questioned.
Examinations showed the owl and kestrel were shot with a gun, stuffed on door handles, and blood smeared on windows. Similar incidents involving dead wild animals were found in nearby areas.
