Council bosses have been branded grinches' after banning Christmas wreaths from front doors at a block of flats because they say they are a fire risk.Residents living in apartments on Whiteford Drive in Kettering, Northamptonshire, were left stunned when they received a knock on the door telling them to take decorations down.
