"Officers were called to the station just after 1.30am today (August 31) and again at 3.40am yesterday (August 30) following reports of serious assaults. A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning with injuries consistent with being stabbed. On Friday, a 23-year-old man was also treated for stab wounds before attending hospital for further treatment."
Two men were stabbed in separate attacks at Oxford Circus station within 24 hours. Officers were called just after 1.30am on August 31 and at 3.40am on August 30 following reports of serious assaults. A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries consistent with being stabbed. A 23-year-old man was treated for stab wounds before attending hospital for further treatment. Both men's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made. Police have increased their presence at the station and are urging witnesses to contact them or Crimestoppers with any information.
