James Stevenson, also known as The Iceman, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for attempting to smuggle £76 million worth of cocaine into the UK, hidden in banana shipments. His guilty plea mid-trial reflects the serious nature of organized crime linked to drug trafficking and production.
The court was informed that Stevenson was involved not only in the cocaine importation plot but also in the production and supply of etizolam, commonly referred to as street valium, adding further weight to the organized crime charges against him.
