According to new data from the Office for National Statistics, approximately 10.4% of 16 to 24-year-olds in the UK identified as lesbian, gay, or bisexual (LGB) in 2023, a marked increase over the last decade. Particularly notable is the rise in bisexual identification, which grew from 2.8% in 2018 to 7.5% in 2023. The report underscores demographic shifts, revealing that young adults are increasingly defining their sexual orientations openly.
