Early on Monday morning, a fire broke out in an apartment block on Lower Dargle Road, Bray, prompting rapid response from Gardaí and fire services at approximately 5am. While the blaze was extinguished, nine residents were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. Local TD John Brady praised the firefighters for their heroic efforts during the incident, highlighting their role in rescuing the trapped residents. A thorough technical examination of the fire scene is being conducted.
