"A teenager has died a week after a double stabbing outside a McDonalds in south east London. Another 17-year-old boy was left injured in the incident near the restaurant in Old Kent Road, Bermondsey, just after 10.45pm on August 27. On Thursday, a boy aged 15 appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court charged with murder, grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon. He cannot be named for legal reasons."

They are being supported by specialist officers. The incident took place in the middle of the road outside the McDonalds on Old Kent Road and there were many witnesses. Were you in the area at the time of the stabbing? Were you driving and have dash cam footage of the Old Kent Road? Did you witness the incident?"

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn said the victim's family are being supported by specialist officers and noted many witnesses at the scene in the middle of the road outside the McDonald's. London Ambulance Service treated three patients, deployed advanced paramedics and a trauma team from London's Air Ambulance, and transported patients to major trauma centres.
