Mother 'sickened' after autistic schoolboy 'beaten up by man on London train'
Briefly

Footage circulating on social media shows a 13-year-old boy being slammed into a train door, punched and dragged as the train neared Carpenders Park station near Watford. The attacker can be seen pushing the boy toward doors while shouting and swearing. The victim has autism and ADHD and had been travelling to his grandmother's house in London. The boy initially kept the attack secret because he feared losing the ability to travel alone. Terrified bystanders fled the carriage and two men intervened to pull the attacker off the boy. Hertfordshire Police received a crime report and enquiries are ongoing. The incident sits against a wider pattern of crimes on London Underground trains.
I was sickened. I felt sick, cried, shaking, every emotion that you can possibly feel as a parent. Nobody helped, even all the adults, it took two men to come through the carriages and pull him off my son.
Why are you disturbing me? I am a big man, I am a big man. Understand this.
Officers received a crime report from Hertfordshire Police after a 13-year-old boy was assaulted on a train at Watford High Street railway station at around 4pm on a date in late July. Enquiries are ongoing.
