Timothy Kusemi, 41, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a collision on the B1253 near Rudston on 24 November 2023. Susan Whittles, 70, died in the crash, while her husband Bill was also injured. Kusemi received a six-year prison sentence and an 11-year driving ban at Hull Crown Court. Susan's family described her as a devoted wife, grandmother, respected local preacher, guide leader, and active supporter of Riding for the Disabled.
