
"A 43-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his wife who was found stabbed to death at their home in east London. Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to an address in Cranham Road, Hornchurch, in the early hours of Saturday. Upon arrival, officers found a woman had been stabbed. Despite the efforts of emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene."

He will appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with murder. Agne's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
