Man (60s) arrested in connection with Creeslough explosion in which 10 people were killed

A man in his 60s was arrested this morning in connection with the 2022 explosion in Creeslough, Co Donegal, which led to the deaths of ten individuals. Arrested by gardaí in the North West, he is being held for alleged violations under the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act. The ongoing investigation is being coordinated from Milford Garda station with significant support from the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and other organizations. The tragedy is believed to have stemmed from a gas leak.
