"Police were called to reports of a fight between two men at High Street, Cowley, at 12.27pm on Friday, September 26. Officers from Met Police attended alongside London Ambulance Service who treated a 62-year-old man for his injuries. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody, where he remains, police said."
Police were called at 12.27pm on Friday 26 September to reports of a fight between two men on Cowley High Street, Uxbridge. Met Police officers and London Ambulance Service attended and treated a 62-year-old man who was later pronounced dead at the scene. A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall said officers are working quickly to establish the full circumstances and that no other suspects are being sought. Police are asking anyone in the area to check doorbell or camera footage and to share information by calling 101 quoting CAD 3169/26SEPT or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
