The 39-year-old was shot dead by armed police in Redditch after failed negotiations to resolve a situation where he was reportedly in possession of a knife.
Despite attempts to engage with the man over several hours by a police negotiator, he was shot at around 7:40pm and pronounced dead shortly after.
