Landscaper's shock after finding 'wartime ordnance' while digging in Dartford garden
Briefly

Landscapers in Dartford made a startling discovery of a suspected World War II bomb while working in a back garden on Kirby Road. The bomb was found at 9:18 am, prompting an immediate response from Kent Police and the evacuation of nearby homes. The area was cordoned off for safety. Bobby Moulson, the landscaper, initially mistook the object for a tin bath until he identified it as a bomb after looking it up online. A bomb disposal team from the Ministry of Defence was called in and safely removed the ordnance, allowing residents to return home by 4:15 pm.
We first discovered it as we were digging to start putting up a fence. I thought it was a tin bath or something until we brushed some soil off it and see what shape it was.
When it was confirmed a WWII bomb I was shocked really I have never seen anything like this before.
