Kate Middleton attended the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in London after a two-year absence due to her cancer diagnosis. Joined by other royals, she wore a striking red dress and accessorized with a significant pearl choker from Queen Elizabeth. This year’s ceremony marks a celebration of the Commonwealth under the theme “Together We Thrive,” with around 2,000 guests present. Middleton had previously missed the event due to health challenges but has since shared her journey of recovery and adjustment to a new normal since becoming cancer-free.
As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.
This year's theme is "Together We Thrive" and 2,000 guests will come together to commemorate the enduring spirit of the Commonwealth family.
