Thousands of NHS appointments in England are expected to be cancelled as junior doctors go on strike in a dispute with the government over pay.The 72-hour walkout by medics who can have up to eight years of experience as a hospital doctor or three years in general practice will run from 7.00am on Wednesday until 7.00am on Saturday.
