"A man protesting about freedom in Iran has scaled the King's Cross clock tower while holding a dog. The activist, wearing a black T-shirt with the slogan no to war, has unfurled a banner featuring the words Freedom for Iran and Iran belongs to its people. Bizarrely, he performed the stunt on Tuesday morning while holding a dog which was spotted with him at the top of the station structure."
"The man is believed to have reached the top of the clock tower at just after 8am, to start a stand-off which has lasted for more than two hours. He was seen shouting down to the crowds below, before speaking animatedly to the LFB officers on the raised ladder. A man climbed the King's Cross clock tower while holding a dog and unfurled a banner reading Freedom for Iran and Iran belongs to its people. He wore a black T-shirt bearing the slogan no to war. British Transport Police closed part of the plaza and London Fire Brigade sent crews on an extended ladder to resolve the situation. The man reportedly reached the top just after 8am and began a stand-off lasting more than two hours, shouting to crowds and speaking with emergency responders. Station entrances were blocked but services did not appear affected. The protester was seen in tears and adjusted his banner repeatedly.
