About 80 firefighters are tackling a large blaze at a four-storey block of flats on Maysoule Road in Battersea, south-west London. The entire top floor and roof of the building are alight. Fire crews are using a 105ft (32-metre) turntable ladder as a water tower to fight the flames from above. The building has been evacuated by fire crews wearing breathing apparatus. Three people have been treated by paramedics, and one person has been taken to hospital. The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
