Gardaí are investigating two separate road collisions in Co Mayo and Co Galway that occurred today. The first incident involved a cyclist in his 60s who was transported to hospital after being hit on the road between the airport and Charlestown. The second, a serious three-vehicle collision on the N17 between Tuam and Milltown, resulted in five people being hospitalized, including a child. Garda forensic investigators have closed the roads for a technical examination and are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
