Beatrice Folchi, a 24-year-old small-time actress and assistant to Kentucky-based crypto investor John Woeltz, was arrested in Manhattan for her alleged involvement in the kidnapping and torture of an Italian man. The victim reported being held hostage for nearly three weeks during a failed extortion attempt linked to his cryptocurrency account. Although charged with first-degree kidnapping, Folchi was not prosecuted by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office pending further investigation. She asserts her innocence and claims to work as a marketing manager for luxury brands, despite the serious allegations against her.
"I'm not arrested," she told The Post in an exclusive interview outside of her ritzy Chelsea apartment building, where she was walking with another woman.
"Everything is going to be told but with a lawyer - I can't make any comments right now," added Folchi, who was sporting an all-black outfit, sunglasses and a nearly $1,300 Stella McCartney tote.
