A British man named Vishwash Kumar Ramesh claims he survived the Air India plane crash bound for London Gatwick, despite earlier reports indicating no survivors. Ahmedabad Police confirmed him as the sole survivor from seat 11A. Ramesh described the chaos after the crash, noting he suffered impact injuries and witnessed bodies around him. He fled the wreckage, aided by a stranger who placed him in an ambulance. The flight had 242 people onboard, with a mix of nationalities, including 169 Indian and 53 British passengers.

There was one survivor who is understood to have been in seat 11A on board the plane. NDTV has named the man as British National Vishwash Kumar Ramesh.
