Kyran Durnin, an eight-year-old from Drogheda, Co Louth, has been missing since 30 August, leading An Garda Siochana to launch a murder investigation.
Despite extensive inquiries and investigations, An Garda Siochana could neither locate Kyran nor find any evidence indicating he is still alive, leading to the conclusion he is missing presumed dead.
An Garda Siochana is spearheading the investigation, with a senior officer based at a dedicated incident room, and is working closely with Tusla, Ireland's Child and Family Agency.
Authorities encourage anyone with information about Kyran’s disappearance to come forward, emphasizing that even seemingly insignificant details can be crucial to the investigation, ensuring strict confidentiality.
