The bodies of missing sisters Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, who disappeared on January 7, 2025, were discovered in the River Dee near Queen Elizabeth Bridge in Aberdeen. The sisters, originally from Hungary, last communicated with their landlady via text on the same day they went missing. Following extensive searches using various police resources, including marine and air support, police are continuing their investigations, focusing on the surrounding coastal areas of the city.
CCTV shows the sisters spent five minutes at the footpath and Victoria Bridge but did not engage with anyone else, highlighting their isolation before their disappearance.
Extensive searches of the River Dee and the Harbour area, using local and national specialist police resources, including dive and marine unit, police dogs and air support ended.
