The Garden District Hotel occupies a historic residence on Prytania Street in New Orleans' Garden District neighborhood, a residential area known for Greek- and Italianate-style homes with ornate cast iron and sweeping verandas. The hotel's design intentionally reflects the neighborhood's character through thoughtful aesthetic choices. The lobby preserves the original brick façade while incorporating eye-catching murals and garden-inspired color palettes, complemented by velvet furnishings and exposed brick walls surrounding a central fireplace.
