"We're encouraging all individuals to remain out of the water," weather service meteorologist Roger Gass told SFGATE Tuesday morning. "It's definitely not safe out there."
Gass said the largest swell heights will once again likely be at Mavericks, but along the coastline, similar historic heights may be spotted because of the nature of the swell."
"We're looking at 25-35 feet breaking waves, still dangerous," he said. "And we're encouraging people to remain out of the water. Even the most experienced swimmers should stay out of the water."
"It's looking pretty dramatic," he said, explaining that while wave heights will begin to diminish Tuesday evening, they're still going to be 'large and hazardous.'"
