A tiny Calif. restaurant may be the most unique stop on the drive from SF to LA
Briefly

At the Red Dot Vegetarian Kitchen in Frazier Park, global meatless fare that spans from Indian classics to American comfort food is served with a side of Zen.
About 75% of our customers are travelers, whether they're driving from San Francisco to LA or what I'd call international 'regular travelers' who, without fail, always stop at the Red Dot.
The unincorporated community of Frazier Park is certainly rural by Southern California standards. It's about a five-minute drive up Mount Pinos from the 5, past a handful of fast food joints.
The Red Dot sits across from a pupusa restaurant and next to a handful of trailer homes. Its front patio, with mismatched tables and chairs, has a certain ramshackle charm.
