Last weekend, a dog named Moscow fell down a 200-foot ice waterfall at Cascade Falls in Lake Tahoe, leading to a considerable volunteer rescue operation. The dog's owner reported the incident to 911 after the dog slipped and fell. Although Moscow survived the fall, he was injured and required immediate assistance. A drone and an ice climber helped locate and retrieve the dog. Ultimately, rescuers transported Moscow to an emergency veterinarian, where he is recovering from his injuries, highlighting the community's dedication to rescuing pets in distress.

Search and rescue volunteers arrived at Cascade Falls shortly after and found the dog with assistance from a drone operated by South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue.
