The 2026 Cadillac Optiq Will Be GM's First Tesla-Plug EV
Briefly

The 2026 Cadillac Optiq will be General Motors' first vehicle equipped with a native Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS) plug, making it easier for drivers to access Tesla's extensive Supercharger network without needing an adapter. Following the Optiq, the Optiq-V will also feature the NACS. Additionally, the Optiq will introduce a new rear-wheel-drive version to the lineup, enhancing its offerings with improved performance stats. All models maintain a range of 300 miles and come with an 85-kilowatt-hour battery.
By integrating a NACS port directly into the vehicle, GM provides customers with direct access to 21,500-plus reliable and convenient fast charging options across North America.
The Optiq joins the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Ioniq 9, Lucid Gravity, and Kia EV9 in featuring a NACS port, offering drivers seamless charging experiences.
