Tesla Australia has officially joined the Australian Energy Council (AEC) as a new member, contributing to a network that services over 10 million homes. This move coincides with Tesla's expansion of its renewable energy solutions, including grid-scale Megapacks and home Powerwalls across Australia. The AEC expressed excitement about collaborating on innovative solutions for the energy transition, while Tesla’s regional director highlighted the exciting developments in adapting wholesale and retail electricity markets to integrate renewable technologies and flexible customer demands. The membership aims to foster advancements for Australia’s energy landscape.
AEC membership provides an opportunity to collaborate to develop the solutions necessary to drive Australia's energy transition. Together, we aim to create positive outcomes for consumers across the nation as the energy system decarbonises.
