Halton police have identified the victim of a shooting outside a Burlington restaurant as Craig McIlquham, age 55, from Oakville. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Mandarin Restaurant on Tuesday night, where McIlquham was shot at around 8:30 p.m. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Authorities have confirmed that they believe this was a targeted attack and are seeking public assistance, particularly anyone with dashcam footage, to aid in their investigation into the shooting and the occupants of a suspicious grey Honda Civic involved.
