UK's Robinson needs wrist surgery; season over
Briefly

Kentucky guard Jaxson Robinson, the team's second-leading scorer, is set to undergo wrist surgery, ruling him out for the rest of the season. He struggled with the injury throughout February and re-injured himself in a recent game against Oklahoma. Coach Mark Pope confirmed a three-month recovery period, indicating that this injury finishes Robinson's college basketball career. The 6-foot-6 fifth-year senior had shown promise this season but had faced several setbacks due to injuries while averaging 13.0 points before his surgery announcement.
We kind of came to the final conclusion last night that he's going to get surgery, so he's going Wednesday to the world specialist to have surgery on his wrist.
Robinson enjoyed a breakout season last year under Pope, earning Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year honors after averaging 14.2 points.
