At around 4 a.m., officers responded to reports of a woman being shot in her home, alleged to have been invaded by three male suspects. During this violent incident, one of the woman's dogs was shot and killed. Fortunately, the 47-year-old woman sustained only non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities suspect the attack was targeted and isolated, noting that the suspects also attempted to set the house on fire before fleeing the scene.
