
"A woman is dead after a collision with a vehicle in Aurora, Ont. early Monday morning, said York police. Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. near Goulding Avenue and Wellington Street E. for a crash and located a seriously injured adult woman at the scene, said York police Insp. Josh McCue. He said paramedics attended the scene, but the woman later died of her injuries."
"The driver and vehicle remained at the scene and are speaking with investigators, said McCue. No one has been arrested and no charges have been laid at this time. But they are still investigating the circumstances of the crash, he said. Roads in the area will be closed for "a subsequent amount of time," while police are at the scene, he said. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of the area is urged to share with police or Crime Stoppers."
