Toronto police searching for missing woman, 74 | CBC News
"Toronto police are asking for the public's help to locate a 74-year-old woman who has been missing since Thursday evening. The woman, who police are calling Lynn, was reportedly spotted downtown on CCTV footage this morning near King Street W. and Shawn Street, said Toronto police Const. Stephanie Miceli on Friday. That's about 20 kilometres away from where she was last seen when she was initially reported missing in Scarborough, near Victoria Park Avenue and Cassandra Boulevard on Thursday, according to police."
"Miceli said Lynn has cognitive impairments which increases the urgency of the search, along with the cold weather. She said the woman is known to take the TTC and said transit commission has been alerted that she is not to travel and to call police if she is seen. Lynn is described as about 5'4 with a medium build, grey hair and blueish-grey eyes. She was last seen wearing a long, dark green winter jacket, grey leggings and black shoes, according to police."
