The collision occurred early Wednesday at the intersection of Bristol Road West and Loonlake Avenue when a woman crossing was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
Const. Richard Chin stated that the driver did not stop after the hit, continuing eastbound on Bristol Road, emphasizing the need for assistance in the investigation.
The victim was transported to a trauma centre and remains in serious condition; police are appealing to the public for dashcam footage or tips regarding the incident.
