Andrew Sutton, a 29-year-old man from Toronto, was reported missing for over a week before being found dead. Sutton, who had last been seen in the Danforth and Coxwell avenues area on February 16, leaves behind a wife and children. "I want to thank everyone who [overwhelmingly] helped spread the word of his disappearance and for all the support and kindness you all offered to the family," said Ken Robinson, Sutton's father-in-law.
Toronto police said in a news release Tuesday that Andrew Sutton had been found, but did not specify if he was found alive.
A family member confirmed the husband and father is dead, underscoring the tragic outcome of his disappearance.
Sutton, who is originally from Barrie, was last seen on Feb. 16 in the area of Danforth and Coxwell avenues.
