A man in his 20s was stabbed on Tuesday night in Toronto's East Danforth area, near Danforth Avenue and Hillingdon Avenue. Police responded just after 11 p.m. and found the victim with life-threatening injuries, later pronounced dead in the hospital. The homicide unit of the Toronto Police Service has taken over the investigation, cordoning off part of Danforth Avenue to gather evidence. Authorities are currently seeking a male suspect described as five-feet-five-inches tall with a thin build, last seen wearing a grey hoodie and dark pants.
Police were called about the incident just after 11 p.m. When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from stab wounds.
The homicide unit of the Toronto Police Service is now investigating.
Officers have taped off a section of Danforth Avenue between Coxwell and Hillingdon Avenues Wednesday morning while they investigate.
Police are searching for a male suspect who is about five-feet-five-inches tall with a thin build, who was wearing a grey hoodie and dark pants.
