
"York police are investigating after a home in Richmond Hill was the target of a shooting for the second time in three months. Just before 5 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to reports of gunshots on Bryson Drive, in the area of Carville Road and Bathurst Street, York police said in a news release. They found a vehicle parked in a driveway that was damaged by gunshots."
"A grey SUV was seen fleeing the area shortly after shots were fired, police said. The damaged vehicle was parked at an address that had also been targeted in a shooting in November, police said. No one was injured in either incident, police said. Police are investigating whether the shootings are connected. Anyone with information or video of the incidents is asked to come forward."
Just before 5 a.m., gunshots were reported on Bryson Drive near Carville Road and Bathurst Street in Richmond Hill. Officers found a vehicle parked in a driveway that had been damaged by gunfire and observed a grey SUV fleeing the area shortly after shots were fired. The same address had been targeted in a November shooting when a dark-coloured SUV was seen before multiple shots were fired at the home and driveway vehicles. No one was injured in either incident. Investigators are examining whether the two shootings are connected and are requesting information or video from the public.
