After a voided initial election, the mandated byelection for two French-language school boards' trustees is set to open for voting on Jan. 21.The byelection was deemed necessary after the discovery that candidates in the French-language public school board, Conseil scolaire Viamonde, (Ward 3 Centre) election, and in the French-language Catholic board, Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir, (Ward 4 Toronto Est) election were ineligible for the position.
